Our new Olympic Sky Haus is open for booking!
/We fell in love with the Olympic Peninsula decades ago. This part of the world is covered in glaciated mountains, surrounded by dense moss-covered rainforests, and outlined by a rugged wind-whipped Pacific coastline to the West and the Salish Sea to the North.
Olympic National Park is the jewel at the heart of the peninsula. The park features at least 16 endemic animal species and 8 endemic plant species. It also boasts incredible hiking and year round recreational opportunities for adventurers of all levels.
We wanted to find a little home here because we adopted a rescue Alaskan Malamute that does not do well with people or dogs, and we wanted him to have a place where he could run free. We also are obsessed with surfing and hiking out here so it was the ideal place for our little family to build a home.
Building Our Olympic Peninsula Cabin Rental
We originally were looking for a piece of land but after a few failed real estate attempts we decided to stretch our search options. When we found Olympic Sky Haus we were in awe of the natural beauty of the valley and we loved the proximity to the area’s best hiking.
The little house, though, needed A LOT of work. We spent the past 8 months fixing it up, and we put a lot of love into making the space comfortable and cozy while introducing a host of modern amenities.
The final result is a minimalist retreat that immerses visitors in the Pacific Northwest's grand scenery.
While there are a lot of places to stay on the Olympic Peninsula, not many can offer the combinations of privacy, natural beauty, a modern space, and a hot tub. Visitors usually have to sacrifice at least one of their requirements when booking an Olympic Peninsula Cabin Rental.
When not in use by us, we decided to offer our cabin as a vacation rental. We feel it has everything visitors need for a special stay on the peninsula.
